I painted "Lions'MouthsShut" (acrylic on board 24x24), for a band (titled the same). I'm pleased with how the painting turned out, allthough I intended for it to be very different. The lions face has a more subdued/meloncalli feel than i originally intended. I was going to paint him as fierce as possible, but I felt inspired to go the way it ended up. I think it fits the meaning a bit better this way. The insperation for the band name came from the bible, Daniel 6:22. Enjoy!
