This last summer I took my daughter to the county fair. We watched some of the auctions for the sheep, pigs, and cattle (yes, it is a predominately farming county haha). She especially loves horses and thoroughly injoyed seeing all the girls riding their "pretty" ponies with their manes all tied with bows and ribbons. The high light of the expedition was the mary go round!

She has a deep love for all things horse related including unicorns or pegases like beings. If she ever met a magic jeanie she'd ask to be turned into a horse! lol. I knew I wanted to paint something for her birthday, and the memory of her face at the fair just popped into my head, it was perfect. So this painting is for her. A freed mary go round unicorn; strong, elegant, and full of hope!
